Organic vinegar hot sauce from fermented red habanero chili. The taste is like a fresh tabasco: strong, acidic and fantastically balanced fruit notes and salts, with a hint of umami from tomato. Made in Denmark.

Kandy Spices Hot Sauce is handmade in small batches from fermented organic habanero chilies. For each batch, we carefully select the chilies and ferment them for a minimum of 28 days before they are blended with the other ingredients and bottled. The fermentation makes the taste extra deep and aromatic, as a counterbalance to the sharpness of the chilies. Suitable for dishes with meat, eggs, vegetables and seafood and as a seasoning on pizza, pasta and sandwiches.

About candy spices

Kandy Spices is a Danish spice company established in 2016. We are based at Østerbro in Copenhagen, and it is from here that we develop our delicious and spicy chilli sauces, spices and tasty lemonades with inspiration from Sri Lankan and South Asian cuisine.

Kandy Spices took shape when chef and owner David de Silva decided to revive his father's chili recipes and share his Sri Lankan gastronomic heritage. The de Silva family is originally from the beautiful city of Kandy, located in the highlands of the tropical island, which is particularly known for some of the best spices in the world. Hence the name Kandy Spices.
