Isn't pepper just pepper? The short answer is no. Old pepper tastes dusty, but this black pepper from Sri Lanka - a Ceylon pepper - is full of flavor and aromatic fruity notes. These are some of the most aromatic peppercorns in the world. The pepper plant, which is a creeper, grows on fruit trees and palm trees, and the pepper we buy is grown "wild" in forest gardens around the city of Kandy. The pepper has the most wonderful and amazing spicy pepper taste.

The green peppercorns are handpicked and dried to a moisture content of 10-11%. This gives a piperine content of 6-8%, which helps to give the pepper a particularly high quality.
